This award-winning artisan bakery and garden café is located in the heart of Slöinge. Solhaga Stenugnsbageri bakes sourdough bread and pastries, and its delicious sandwiches are packed with local delicacies.
What used to be an old out-building with a wood-fired stone oven has now become a modern artisan bakery selling sourdough bread and pastries made from local ingredients without additives or shortcuts. Croissants and pain au chocolat are made with real butter, for instance, and the bakery also makes its own jam and custard from scratch. Solhaga Stenugnsbageri has received several awards from Skåneländska Gastronomiska Akademien and the White Guide Café, among others, for its impressive artisanal bread.
Café in the garden
Head out into the garden for a coffee during the summer. On grey-weather days, you can book one of the small tables indoors instead, with limited number of seats. You can pair your delicious sandwich with freshly ground coffee from Slöinge Kafferosteri, Theodor tea, Valrhona chocolate or pure apple juice from Carlslunds Gård in Steninge.
