A nostalgia museum with a wealth of historical artefacts. A variety of objects from the countryside, old environments, village shops and everyday life can be found on display here.
A journey through time
Climb the 100-year-old staircase up to the museum and enter a time long ago. Here, you can learn more about life in the countryside in past eras and reflect on how it has developed up to modern day. Rural life underwent a radical transformation over a relatively short period of time in the 20th century.
For the whole family
Berte Museum is a private nostalgia museum which surprises visitors with its size, wealth of display objects and how close you can get to them. You can walk amongst agricultural machinery, hand tools and tractors here. In carefully environments built to resemble the real thing, you can learn more about the different crafting professions, village shops and rural schools. For visitors from older generations, it is sure to feel like a trip down memory lane. Younger visitors can look forward to discovering and learning more about what life was like when their grandfather was young. In other words, it’s got something for the whole family.
