Canoeing in Suseån
Suseån winds through lush vegetation and makes for an exceptionally beautiful canoeing experience in the Swedish nature. The area by the river mouth, where Suseån meets the sea, is especially worth a visit.
Small and winding
Suseån is a small river that flows through the southern part of Falkenberg. It opens into Kattegatt between the two nature reserves Vesslunda and Grimsholmen.
Suseån is due so count with some rapids and trees to get past along your way. Even some lifting occurs on the upper part. If you paddle from the mouth and upstream for about an hour and then back, you will not have to do the lifts. For families with smaller children this is a popular option.

Parking is available at the mouth of Suseån and Hallarnas hembygdsgård. Toilet is located at the parking lot at Suseåns mouth.
