Fine white sand and high dunes make this beach one of the most popular in Falkenberg. If you get an urge for some ice cream or pizza, you can find both on the other side of the dunes.
About the beach
The long beach at Olofsbo is very popular among families with children. There are high sand dunes in the southern part. Children enjoy climbing and running around in the hot, soft dunes. There are also good crab-fishing spots in the rocky peripheries of the beach or in the marina just south of it.
There are restrooms and showers as well as a dressing cabin, which is open during the summer holidays. Shops, ice cream stands and a pizzeria are also close at hand, and there is plenty of parking along Havsvägen. You are welcome to bring your dog for a swim in the northern end of the beach.
Olofsbo borders the Morups Tånge nature reserve to the north. It has a lighthouse that was built in 1841 and which is visible from the beach. Please note that you the nature reserve is off-limits to visitors between 1 April to 15 July. To the south lies Agerörs Mal, a terminal moraine dating back to the Ice Age which has been washed and heaped up by the ocean waves.
