The best of the Swedish seasons can be found at Skrea beach. In the summer, there are tall sand dunes, classic beach cabins, restaurants, a lively atmosphere, and the long pier stretching out into the sea. In the winter, you can enjoy long walks in the fresh, salty winter air while the sea foams and storms.
About the beach
Skrea beach is one of Halland’s finest and most popular beaches. A 2 km long sandy beach with tall sand dunes all the way. Here, you’ll find the famous pier, which is 250 meters long and equipped with a handicap ramp. In the summer, there’s a wide range of kiosks and eateries. You can also stay at one of the two hotels located directly on the beach. Experience the fantastic atmosphere and the lively crowd at Skrea beach. Play mini-golf or enjoy an after-beach event.
During summer, there are plenty of toilets and showers, and at the southern end, there’s a designated dog beach area. There’s also ample parking along Klittervägen. Along the Ätran River, there’s a more than two-kilometer-long walking and cycling path, Strandpromenaden, that leads to the center of Falkenberg.
South of Skrea beach lies Skrea näs (Näset), an area with small sandy coves tucked between rocky headlands.
